2010 Hooty-Hoot Christmas Cards
The inside of these cards read "Merry Christmas. Have a hoot!". The owl ornament on the front is removable so its not only a card, it's an ornament! I attached the ornament using Scotch's permanent(not really), roll-on adhesive. It comes in this purple plastic roller device and coincidentally it is not permanent and actually works like post it glue. I rolled the adhesive onto the main card stock and affixed the ornament to the adhesive. The ornaments are double sided and the string to hang it is sandwiched between the two circle shaped pieces. I found that when finding a pattern for the owl it is best to keep it simple especially when you are constructing like 20 of these tiny little "hoot-hoots". The paper I used is from my absolute favorite paper collection by KandCompany and can be found here. This is a great project to use up all those old paper scraps left over from past projects.
Ok...here goes nothing...
Greeting fellow craft lovers! This is my very first blog EVER so give me a little slack as I am still trying to figure out this crazy thing called blogging. My intentions for this blog is to share my crafts with the craft world. I have pulled so much inspiration from other craft blogs and I thought it would only be right to offer my own inspiration to others seeking ideas. I am a terrible writer so I will be keeping the commentary to a minimum and do my best to keep the craft ideas to a maximum in photos. On that note, please enjoy my work and take from it what you will. If I have inspired anyone to craft today then my mission is complete!
